Social media is here to stay, and we need to talk about it. It provides a convenient way for our kids to communicate with their friends, parents, and even grandparents. However, it can also provide a platform for cyberbullying and other dangerous activities. Rod Pruitt, an expert on technology safety and bullying prevention for Region 14 Service Center in Abilene, offered a presentation on kids and social media on March 2.
