2023 Wilderness Trek
Who: 9th – 12th Graders, Parents, Volunteers, & Friends
What: Wilderness Trek
When: July 2-8, 2023
Where: New Mexico (outside of Santa Fe)
Why: To experience God while in nature.
Cost: $450 per person
This summer, the HYG will be going on Wilderness Trek. Wilderness Trek is a 4 night, 5 day backpacking experience in the backcountry of New Mexico outside of Santa Fe, NM. During our time on the trail we will grow closer to God through intentional Bible study and the practice of spiritual disciplines. We will also stand on the summit of a mountain (weather permitting).
Wilderness Trek costs $618.00 per person, but Hillcrest is subsidizing that rate and you will only have to pay $450.00 per student. Scholarship and financial aid are available if more help is needed. Parents and volunteers that wish to attend as sponsors will go for free.

We will have a mandatory team meeting for those participating on Sunday, March 26 to discuss packing list and preparations. So, please register and pay your deposit by then, and if you’re bringing a friend have them register by then as well.
